Why the differences ?

Ever wondered why there are so many differences among us ?
Nope, not the physical but the material.

Its ok if you're not Angelina Jolie or Tom Cruise :-) Their lives just got better.

Some rich, some poor, some in-between.
Why does God have to create only humans like that. Do animals have so ?

Or is it like just because Adam 'n' Eve ate the apple, they got some brains and started acquiring wealth in the Garden of Eden ;-)

"Destiny" is the word. You will get what you are destined to get. Whether its name, fame, or money.

Monu bhaiya was a man of sorrow. Since childhood, he had been compared with others, and ended up a life of distress.

Momma says "Oye Monu , bajuwale Randhir ko dekh! Tumse hi zyaada marks milte hain, Ache Kapde pehente hain". Monu sobbed over that, still he failed.

When Monu got married, his wife Phoolan was even more horrifying. She demoralized him by always talking about the wealthy and 'successful' neighbors.

Monu's life half-ended this way. When he consulted Mr.Guddu, the psychiatrist, he advised Monu to read books on motivation and self-confidence. Guddu slowly discovered that Monu's problem was the 'comparison' factor. This developed a complex in him, which put him further down.

Nobody tried to understand Monu or motivate him. Monu always thought 'I cant do it' but never thought 'Why am I not able to do it' .

This is not only in the case of Monu, but each one of us. We are always used to getting compared with others.
"Look how beautiful her hair is, cant you do something about your sticky hair? "
"That guy pursued MBA, he is working in a top Management concern, you change your decision or will end up as a garbage collector "

This not only puts us down, but also develops a hatred about the other person.

The purpose should be to 'inspire' and not 'compare' or 'criticize'. Words must be put in a different way so that serves as an inspiration or an option.

However comparisons on wealth and beauty is no good. It again develops a low self-esteem. And those are material things which dont stay for long.

Why don't we stop comparing ourselves and recognize our individuality ? Every person is unique, so hold on to it.

Hi,
What you said is absolutely right. But if we are a mediocre we have to hear those things till we die. Those words will be sometimes inspiring but sometimes it will let you down.

Yes, agree. Motivate, don't bring down anybody. Ridicule and critisize amd you ensure that the other person never is inspired positively!

Nice thoughts! :)
